World’s Biggest Coffee Morning 2017

Derek Lewis would like to thank its accounts team for overseeing its participation in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, as run by Macmillan Cancer Support.  One of the UK’s biggest fundraising events.

The team, consisting of Louise Morton, Claire Sables, Vicky Allen, Suzanne Taylor and Alex Mitchell, supervised the raising of over £300 for the event, with other members of staff kindly lending their own baking skills to the cause.

Originally held back in 1990, the annual affair asks people across the UK to host their own coffee mornings, with all proceeds being forwarded onto the charity.  To date, the event has raised a total £138 million for Macmillan.
