Thornensians Rugby Club - 2014

Derek Lewis Ltd are proud to announce that, after 5 years of waiting, the Thornensians Rugby Club now have a newly refurbished car park that offers a great first impression to supporters and visitors alike to match their quality performances on the pitch in the Yorkshire RFU Northern Division Three.

A special thanks goes out to the officials and supporters of the club for the raising of funds along with a substantial grant provided by Sports England to fund this project.

Chairman Kevin Jones had this to say after seeing our boys in action

“At one point in the day there was so much kit on the site, and so much well co-ordinated movement, that the car park resembled an F1 pit lane!”

Although a slight inconvenience was caused due to the return of local school Trinity Academy, both parties are pleased with the finish of the project.
