Macmillan 2019

Supporting the Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting a coffee morning has become an annual event for us. Joining in with one of the world’s largest charity fundraisers, the staff at Derek Lewis hosted another fabulous Macmillan coffee morning today. In aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, we joined the Nation throwing the world’s biggest coffee morning with the entire staff mixing, baking (and some burning) their very own masterpieces to earn some valued cash for the Cancer charity.

Our event also featured a mini competition, guessing the number of berries in a pie and of course the obligatory judging of the bake-off. The winner of the guessing competition went to our business development manager James Hubball and the bake-off was won by Lisa Sabin of the accounting department for her very special sausage rolls. Well done guys!

We raised a fantastic total of around £172 for Macmillan Cancer Support UK and hope to continue supporting the outstanding work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support with more fundraising events in the future.
