Derek Lewis Ltd is pleased to announce its success in securing a new contract for Highway Maintenance with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.

Works will involve major planing, resurfacing, deep patching, provision of new road markings, and installation of traffic loops; along with the provision of temporary traffic management to facilitate the works.

The works themselves are being undertaken at multiple sites on the PRN network, and cover both urban and rural schemes. Locations will include the A629 Halifax Road/Huddersfield Road, Ingbirchworth, and A6135 Sheffield Road, Hoyland Common.

This marks a positive start to what the company aims to make a highly-productive 2016. The first project has begun this week, and will run through to late March. Stay posted for upcoming news stories as events develop.
