Job description
Derek Lewis Ltd is actively seeking a skilled and experienced road surfacing gang. We are looking for professionals with both machine and hand-lay experience to join our dynamic team. The gang will be primarily working in the Yorkshire area, with occasional projects requiring travel.
Roles within the Gang:
• Rake Hands
• Paver/Roller Drivers
• Screwman
Responsibilities:
• Execute road surfacing projects including highways, car parks, and footpaths.
• Operate machinery and perform hand-lay techniques as required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety on all projects.
• Adapt to both local and away work requirements as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in road surfacing.
• Competency in using road surfacing machinery and tools.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for occasional projects outside Yorkshire.
