Description
Our latest Civil Engineering project and what a transformation!
Traditionally known local as “Hatfield Dumpit Site” on Bootham Lane, Dunscroft, the site was ready for some much needed renovation work to better cope with the ever changing methods of recycling and waste disposal.
It was a total re-vamp and included the installation of new drainage and ducting, extensive excavation works in preparation for the supply and compaction of a stone sub-base with various geotextile membranes.
We created in situ concrete bays with steel reinforcement together with kerbing, edging, footways and topsoiling. Road base, binder course and tarmac surface course form the basis of the surface area complemented by speed cushions and lining works.
The perimeter now consists of high quality security fencing with gates and a brand new on site brick structure.
Not just a make-over but the complete formation of an all new dumpit site for the benefit of local residents and the environment generally.
